1 # orbit 2 3 A tiny service, here so the documentation's recordings have something to 4 page through, pick from and search. Nothing in it runs. 5 6 ## What it does 7 8 orbit watches a queue, hands each job to a worker and reports progress in the 9 terminal. Workers are plain functions; the scheduler decides how many run at 10 once, retries a job that fails, and gives up after three tries. 11 12 ## Configuration 13 14 | Setting | Default | Meaning | 15 |---|---|---| 16 | `workers` | 4 | Jobs that run at once | 17 | `retries` | 3 | Tries before a job fails | 18 | `port` | 8080 | Where the status page listens | 19 20 ## Running it 21 lines 1–21 of 50 · match 2/13 · n/N · / search · q quit
